Iver Johnson M1 Carbine
I have a good line on one of these for sale and was wondering if any one has one, or knows much about them. I heard that they will accept mil spec parts. Other than that, I am in the dark. I am not expecting to get a mil surp weapon, but have a chance to steal this rifle. Any idea what they go for. Another friend of mine has the "Enforcer" by Iver Johnson in pistol configuration, and it is a pretty neat gun to fire.

Re: Iver Johnson M1 Carbine
I had an Iver johnson once and it was fine. Not as heavy duty a gun as a USGI but a whole lot newer and often in better shape. Plainfields were the bad ones. Universal is solid but the parts arehn't interchangable with USGI so some shy away from the Universals.
When you need parts go to Numrich. They ave everything for the M1 carbine at good prices.
