Re: ZQI Turkish Ammo at Wal-Mart
My LGS got a flyer from ZQI a couple of months back. They were looking for dealers to start buying the ammo with a decent initial price (he had the dealer cost... i dont remember now but i would like to say it was right around 12 bucks for 20/308 or 30/556---also that was for small quantities, i am sure the big online retailers got a discount). I suspect the price will slowly rise once it gets established and is available everywhere.

Re: ZQI Turkish Ammo at Wal-Mart
I can get Federal at my local shop currently for $12 per 20, Hirtenberger surplus for $10.
ZQ1 is still $10 at Walamrt, ZQ1 released a statement that their ammo is just as good as Federal and the other "premium" brands so they will no longer sell to Walmart where people see the low price and associate it with a low grade product.
I see they have since removed the post from their site.
This is why I find it funny to see AIM selling it for less than Walmart.
Right now the place has a sale on the newly branded stuff, it comes in shipped at less than Walmarts price before taxes.
This company is kinda strange, maybe they have the same PR team as Classic has.
And like Emptymag said, not everyone is financially able all the time to order $300+ cases of ammo.
I buy a few boxes a week, once Walmart runs out I'll be done with the ZQ1 stuff and will move to my local shop and start buying what he has and start reloading more, Wideners runs specials all the time on .308 heads.

At 41 cents a round, that's pretty expensive.....

Check out their new website.
They now sell many more calibers by also offering IMI ammunition now.
Looks like they also have another division selling Turkish made firearms too.
Click on the "NEWS" at the top to see company announcements.
The ammo prices seem reasonable. (considering it's a manufacturer's website) The 7.62x51 is not much more than what Wmart was selling it for.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Have you ever tried the 5.56?
SG has 1200 rnd cases of SS109 for $360 & $18 shipping. That's PFT!
Never mind. Just went to the page for the link and it's all gone.

Re: ZQI Turkish Ammo at Wal-Mart
AIM has it. Case (1.200 rd) $359. I think shipping here was $16 when I plugged in the numbers to check.
The nice thing with AIM is that you can buy by the box if you can't afford a whole case. Let's just say that a half case was $13 to ship.
I did the math - even with shipping the total for a half case was almost $20 less than if I were to buy it at Wmart. (except it doesn't exist there any more)
I was going to buy some of the Wolf Gold, but this worked out to be only marginally more in price, so...Last edited by Emptymag; December 3rd, 2015 at 11:25 PM.
