Re: ZQI Turkish Ammo at Wal-Mart
There were cans of 9mm at Natty Heights Wal Mart and 20 round boxes of .308 at Pittsburgh Mills Wal Mart last night.
First time I've seen it.

Re: ZQI Turkish Ammo at Wal-Mart
I live in Washington and have worked in the Defense industry for years. MKEK is pretty well know throughout the world - they just haven't imported here I believe. I think they are something like 500 years old as a company. It is a lot better than the stuff out there that is steel and uses corrosive powder. They use high quality brass and some of the best powder around. My old company is still working with them on producing other US items. Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents worth as someone who has been in the industry and knows who MKEK is. ZQI is just the importer.

Ha. I know, but really, there are a shit ton of people who buy what they see because they want it without knowing, or caring if it can be had for less.
Gun shops see these people every day. Gun SHOWS depend on them.
I don't compare ammo down to the "per round" penny, but anyone with a calculator can figure out in 3 seconds that this ammo is priced ridiculously high.

Re: ZQI Turkish Ammo at Wal-Mart
I buy ammo at walmart when I see it. I buy in bulk from the net. At 18 bucks a 20 thats not any cheaper than anything else walmart sells in 308. If its 7.62x51 its about 3 bucks more a box than wwb or american eagle. My walmart has a bunch of the american eagle and wwb. Im lne lf the few in the area with a x51 capable rifle so itll probably be there awhilw

I can't believe they sell it when right next to it is much cheaper ammo. That's why it sits on the shelves in Lebanon at least.

Not in Lebanon, fortunately. Regular shipments, even 22LR minimags for $7 this week.
