AR-15 Operator Familiarization Course

Due to the overwhelming popularity of the AR-15 family of firearms, the demand for a familiarization of the rifle and how it functions is evident. The instructors are Law Enforcement Armorers and LE Firearm Instructors with years of experience working with the AR-15 platform.

Topics to be covered:
• Firearm safety brief
• How to properly inspect the firearm
• Identify the internal and external components of the AR platform
• Properly Disassemble and Reassemble the rifle
• How to properly maintain the weapon
• Fundamentals of shooting the AR platform
• Overview of available accessories

Each student must bring the following with them:

• AR-15 rifle
• 2- Empty magazines
• Large towel to put rifle and parts on
• Notepad and pen
• willingness to learn

This is a classroom setting, with no prerequisites.

Location: Hawley PA
Time: Jan 11, 2012 @ 11am-2pm
