Default New Moms Demand Action Ad

Apparently they plan to start airing this on Dec. 14th and you'll never guess who is paying for the air time.

    Watch at your own peril.

They can air whatever emotional crap they want. Gun control is a loser, and the politicians know it. Most people don't want more gun control laws, and it isn't even on their radar screen.

It never ceases to amaze me just how much liberals will do anything to push their agenda. They use these kids as props in a political ad they can't possibly understand at their age.

We could be rid of them if our side was willing to push as hard and as relentless, but nooooo...we have to wimp out and "take the high road" or whatever platitude is popular today for playing "nice guy." We should long ago have put a stop to it but people are too happy with hoping the alligator will eat them last.

    Amen to that!!

We have a range in Coraopolis - The Magic Bullet Range - where club mgmt deemed it an offense to be seen visibly carrying a gun from your car to the gate - a distance of under 50yards absolute max point.

We wouldn't want to scare anyone who might see someone walking with a slung rifle as they are driving by club property.

That can be recut easily...(The rest of the video is unchanged until...)

"...Is silence what America needs right now?"

(Show perp entering school building and dropping bag but keeping a firearm. Then show door closing. Keep the clock ticking and bell sound going throughout.)

    ADD THIS:

(Flash from gun shots as seen outside the door through the window with sound. Pause and then a couple of more shots shown similarly.)

(Walk camera to door, open the door and enter to find dead perp from the waist down with gun on floor at feet. Pan to show teacher/adult standing with a pistol.)

"No. We need to speak up, stand up and defend ourselves and loved ones." (Perhaps have the gun carrier say this.)

I love the idea. Anyone here have the skills to make that happen? (better than this one I just threw together)

Check the website for events they plan to hold.

Attend a No More Silence Event

And get a load of these "facts" from thier web site.

Get the Facts About Gun Violence in the United States

    Concealed Carry Killers
    Violence Policy Center

Private citizens legally allowed to carry concealed handguns have committed at least 26 mass shootings over the past six years — including the recent mass murder at the Washington Navy Yard that left 12 dead and a July shooting in Hialeah, Florida that ended the lives of six innocent victims. Overall, concealed carry killers were involved in at least 386 fatal incidents since May 2007, leading to at least 540 deaths including the killing of 14 law enforcement officers.

    Analysis of Recent Mass Shootings
    Mayors Against Illegal Guns

There have been nearly 2 mass shootings a month during the last four years, 93 total. Mayors Against Illegal Guns used FBI data to survey every incident where at least 4 people were murdered with a gun. They noted that use of assault weapons and/or high capacity magazines resulted in 151% more people shot and 63% more people killed. No more than 15% of mass shootings took place in “gun – free zones”. Learn the truth about mass shootings, and what can prevent the next one.

Does Strengthening Self-Defense Law Deter Crime or Escalate Violence? Evidence from Expansions to Castle Doctrine
    Texas A&M

In 10 years more than 20 states passed so called “Stand Your Ground” laws, ostensibly in an effort to protect citizens. Texas A & M University studied the efficacy of these laws. The evidence shows that they do not deter burglary, robbery or aggravated assault. Instead, they led to an increase in murders and non-negligent manslaughter cases up to 9%. These laws have led to 500 to 700 more lives lost annually.

Tell Staples: Guns & Crayons Don’t Mix

Moms Demand Action Founder Shannon Watts sent a letter to CEO Ron Sargent asking him to meet with moms and discuss the reasons it makes sense to keep guns out of stores. But we need your help to get the word out. Here’s what you can do:
■Sign our petition to tell Staples to enact common sense policies to prohibit firearms from its stores.
■Print out this letter and give it to the manager at your local Staples. Tell him or her you want to feel safe when you’re shopping.
■Email Staples and ask them to adopt a gun sense policy to keep firearms out of their stores.
■Call the Office of the President of Staples at 1-800-338-0252 and say that you want Staples to prohibit guns in all its stores nationwide.
