what do you do to pass time in the woods
What do you guys do to pass time in the woods while hunting? Read a book? Glass the tree rats? Take a nap? Today I counted all the shots around me as opposed to counting deer. So far the only deer I have seen was one buck about 500 yards away. Too far to take an off hand shot and there was a barn and road in the background anyway.

I don't hunt, but I would probably pass time by watching for deer. But again I may be wrong because I don't hunt.

I was out this morning. Saw 2 doe.
I look around. Look for deer, look at birds, squirrel. I had a turkey crash land in a nearby field.
I also take the time by myself to think and daydream a little.FOAC Member, NRA Member

I fall asleep. One of my stands is a ground stand with two kitchen chairs, one for my butt the other for my feet. Comfy.

Nowadays I play Tetris on my phone,........however when I was around 13 Dad put me in a ground blind and walked to his spot about 100 yards away..........Needless to say the puberty was a'ragin.....and forgot all about dads binoculars didnt think he'd be checkin up on me with them. Most uncomfortable ride home ever!

I work 2nd shift so I usually get up around 8am. This morning I was awoken around 6:45am by "boom-boom" in the distance (Chester County - Glenmoore area). I didn't care... just smiled and thought to myself, hope some hunter just got lucky.
