    Default Lancaster County Convention Center, metal detectors or hand wands?

    I'm planning on attending an event and am wondering if anyone knows if there are detectors, hand wands or anything to be concerned about? Thanks guys.

    The one on Queen & King streets? None when I was there a couple weeks ago. Walked in from the attached parking garage. That isn't to say that some couldn't be setup, but there aren't any there in any permanent way.

    And if the county owns it, directly or indirectly, preemption applies. They tried that in Pittsburgh with the David L. Lawrence Convention Center during the NRA convention and got educated.
