Re: Santander Performing Art Center
No issues. No "security" to speak of.
Side note: 2nd to last row is roughly 60' from the stage. Nice place.

Furthermore very few people walking in that city understand the concept if crosswalks or right of way.
Let's not forget there are still species of tropical penguins living in the Galapagos.

Attended a concert today and no issues. "Security" was only doing bag checks. No metal detectors, wanding, or pat-downs.

Re: Santander Performing Art Center
I was there yesterday too with my 6 yr old to see "Wild Kratts". I was a little hesitent considering the "PBS Kids" crowd, but I also don't feel comfortable being in Reading without a firearm. I decided to go with my LC9 in my pocket (instead of on my belt where I normally carry it) and had no problems at all. Security was checking bags, but no pat-downs, wanding, or metal detectors that I saw. I also saw no signs indicating no guns allowed. Just lots of signs saying "No Audio/Video Recording" and "No Flash Photography". I'm amazed how many people don't know how to turn off the flash on their cell phones.

Re: Santander Performing Art Center
I went there this weekend to see a show. Walked right into the place with no security. Again, this was the performing arts center. The seats were tight and I swear the lady next to me could feel my g23 on my hip. But im glad i brought it.

Good to know,,,,, I'll be going February 7th for the Get The Led Out concert. They are unbelievable, by the way. If you get a chance, they are worth it.
George,
So many guns, so little money.

Re: Santander Performing Art Center
Hello everyone,
Was in town twice recently; once at the Arena and the other at the Performing Arts Center. Caught the Trans Siberian Orchestra and Ron White shows. Arena does still have signage, but no wanding, or detectors. PAC has no signage that I saw, or any kind of security. More of a reason to carry I guess.
Hope that helps! I know I'm always curious as to how things change in the city since my visits are few and far between.

Feel free to double park wherever you want. In Reading double parking is a sport, not an offense.
