Opinion of American Arms .22 Derringer wanted.
There is a used .22 American Arms derringer with case at my LGS. The "out the door" price is $250.
It is stainless, two shot alternating barrels, transfer bar, single action only, and with case.
I would appreciate any opinions on the advisability of purchasing this gun at this price for pocket use.
Thanks.

I think he means North American Arms. Not a big fan of derringers especially if it's in .22.

I don't think NAA makes a derringer.

I have a North American Arms derringer. It's a little "poker gun".
It's a a Wasp with a 1 5/8" barrel and interchangeable cylinders (.22 lr and .22 magnum).
It a nice little fun gun.
It doesn't sound like the gun you're looking at is one from North American Arms.
My guess is your looking at an American Derringer derringer.
Check out their page at http://www.amderringer.com

F that, cabelas has the .38 special Bond Arms derringer for $250 used. Bond arms is general considered the best company for modern derringers.

Thanks all for your responses. Not so much here but on my "other" gun forum the derringer idea received really negative comments.
I ended up, after additional research, buying a S&W .380 Bodyguard. I also was lucky enough to find some rounds of ammo and a pocket holster. Now, I need to go out and practice with the thing before I incorporate it in to daily use.
