Proper sight in distance for a reflex sight
I mounted a reflex sight on my Hi-Point 4095. I sighted it in at 50 yards today. Since it is only a 40 S&W carbine does 50 yards sound right or should I take it out to 100?

Yes 50. I do take my 9mm AR out to 100 while shooting at steel; with a little Kentucky windage.

Re: Proper sight in distance for a reflex sight
I would sight it to attain "maximum point blank range." Take a look here, though the numbers will probably be a little off since you are shooting a carbine that will probably run at a higher velocity. It looks like sighting it in to impact 3" high at 50 yards will give you MPBR of near 100-110 yards.
