They really weren't that heavy
So before taking my pregnant wife and our son to Wal-Mart earlier tonight, I decided instead of carrying my primary (Canik Shark) and my secondary (TCP), that I would also carry a third.
I normally OC my primary and pocket carry my secondary on my weak side.
Tonight I pushed my primary to 2 o'clock and added an iwb on my 4 o'clock strong side.
In that holster rode my CZ75.
Honestly after about 5 min I really couldn't tell much of a weight difference.
A total of 3.97lbs of gun on my strong side.
About 8oz lighter than a Desert Eagle
With the ammo it might have been more than a loaded Mark XIX. Lol
Someone wise once said 2 is 1 & 1 is none right? Figured I'd have a solid 2 tonight.
And some folks complain a G17 weighs too much. Geesh.
Just thought I'd share
Btw most guns are 20% off until 10pm Sunday.

Re: They really weren't that heavy
If they think a G17 is heavy I wonder what they would think if my XD45 loaded with 14 rounds of 230gr GDHPs

I don't know what's craziest...
Thinking you need three guns at Walmart, taking your son and pregnant wife there on Black Friday, or knowing the combined weight of your pieces out to two decimal places.
With that said, did you purchase anything, or did you just go to watch all the other crazy people in Walmart?
On a serious note, I think it is crazy that we have a holiday to give thanks for what we have and a mere 24 hours later some of us are beating each other just to save a few bucks on items we want.

G17 isn't heavy. G17 is ugly.
Walmart on Black Friday is heavy.

Re: They really weren't that heavy
Like I said. 20% off most guns.
Bargain hudidn't . We went last night. Not really black Friday in the sense of it. Most of the crazies were gone. Just still way more than usual in headcount there. I hate crowds. We were in an out in 20 min. Going back today for a rifle if they still have one of the few I'm looking at.
We did buy more lights for decorating this weekend.
Also, "Thinking I needed 3 guns" sounds allot like "why do you need a gun to shop."
Really? Many routinely carry 2 some 3.
I didn't need 3… I wanted them.
Thought about the weight when I got home. A lil google and a calculator go a long way.Last edited by Armor Snail; November 30th, 2013 at 08:51 AM.
