I have this old gun II
Came into a nice little older ( probably E German) .32 semi-auto that I'd like to buy. It says "Zella-Mehliss" on the slide. Only problem is, it has only one mag and I & the owner have been unable to find spare mags at gun shows, etc. Anybody got any idee as to where I could find mags for it?? I'd like to have it as it is in good cond but only one mag is holding me back.

Re: I have this old gun II
Why does it having only one mag prevent you from buying it?

Not to be rude, but you have to provide some information about what gun we are discussing before anyone can help you find magazines.

Re: I have this old gun II
Zella-Mehliss is a town in Germany. ...so, we're going to need pictures of it to be able to identify it.
Otherwise it's going to be like: I have this old car, I need tires for it, it says "Ford" on the rear of it. lolRIP: SFN, 1861, twoeggsup, Lambo, jamesjo, JayBell, 32 Magnum, Pro2A, mrwildroot, dregan, Frenchy, Fragger, ungawa, Mtn Jack, Grapeshot, R.W.J., PennsyPlinker, Statkowski, Deanimator, roland, aubie515

Re: I have this old gun II
Does it look like a Walther PP? Through the power of the internet, I found an article and picture of an East German copy of the PP. Wonder if PP mags will work?

Re: I have this old gun II
The Firearms Forum identifies Zella-Mehliss as the home of Walther. I would venture a guess that it is Walther, probably a PP.

Re: I have this old gun II
A town known for being the gun making center in Germany.
I'm guessing that it is more in the lines of a Ruby pistol which were popular in the '20's based off Brownings design being produced by FN and widely copied in Europe. They're not worth much and finding parts is a headache.

I'd buy it. Then, eventually, you'll find an extra mag. It will be your quest. Makes going to gun shows purposeful and interesting.

Re: I have this old gun II
Doesn't look exactly like a PPK, but more like this one, w takedown by pulling the trigger guard downwards. Sweet little gun w 95% bluing , just need a spare mag. It has plain wood grips tho......
