Re: PA Steel League
Sounds like a great time. If I was on that side of the state I'd be in!

Re: PA Steel League
It sounds like something I would like to try! Are newcomers welcome? I have shot steel before and some casual pistol matches at my local club.
I learned a long time ago that reality was much weirder than anyone's imagination.--HST

Re: PA Steel League
I saw two different times that squads start shooting. Does this mean I can show up and start shooting at 130? Or would I have to be there at 0900 to register?

Re: PA Steel League
They run two flights at each match. If you want to shoot at 9:00, then you need to show up between 8:00 and 8:45 to register for the morning flight. If you want to shoot 1:30, you need to be there between 12:30 and 1:15 to register. Best plan is to show up with 2 handguns and shoot both morning and afternoon.
I played this game for a few years. I always shot a 1911 in the morning and 686 in the afternoon. The PA Steel league is a lot of fun.
