Pat downs and bag searches have been going on for years. The NFL has instituted metal detector wanding as part of it's security policy.

Even non NFL events I know there is pat downs not sure about wanding.

Weapons? Hell, they ban absolutely everything that would be useful or enjoyable in any way, unless it fits in a tiny man-purse. It's ridiculous.

I'm sure this thread will go the way of the Console thread so let's just get it out of the way....

Fuck their rules... risk arrest on a defiant trespass charge and sneak a gun in there.

*steelcityk9cop in no way advocates the breaking of any laws of the Commonwealth. This would be dumb on your part and furthers the thought that you are a dangerous right wing extremist.

Are there a lot of stadiums and arenas that do allow firearms to be carried inside?

Superdome would have been a good place.

    OP
All fans will be subject to metal detection as they enter Heinz Field. This is a new requirement for all NFL stadiums.
