Probably selling it because Galco or Bianchi doesn't offer a holster that fits.

I would not be surprised if it was from here in Elk Co. There's a widespread belief that no firearm can be fired let alone fired accurately unless scoped. The local gun shops think it's a marvelous concept. But jaws drop on other folks at the range when I ring the 440 yd gong repeatedly with an unscoped rifle, offhand -- Marlin levergun, M1 Rifle, FAL, Kar98k, Swede Mauser, sporterized Krag, AR, whatever.

My youngest was hitting the 440 yd gong open-sighted with a 223 Saiga one range trip when two of her former HS classmates could not get a scoped AK on paper at 100 yds, with a chintzy AK topcover mount. "How is it possible that you can hit that gong?" they asked.

Lack of preconceived notions, and a father and late grandfather who hunted with open sights or receiver sights.

Isn't the scope on backwards? Makes it even dumber. If that is possible.

That's what I was thinking, too. It also looks to be mounted about 45 degrees off, rotationally.

yes the scope is on backwards. also it is a rifle scope. which means it would be almost impossible to shoot.

now I have seen scopes mounted on short barreled pistols. they were used in bulls eye shooting. less barrel time means less time to pull the shot off.

Yes, it is backwards. It also looks like a rifle scope so eye relief would be a bit of an issue.

Maybe it's not backwards. That pistol may have only fired once...and dropped once.

And the gun is an RG so the scope and mount are probably worth more than the pistol!
