Re: Shooting Range Brass Shower
Took a couple and their teenage kids to a range to let them try out some of my pistols. I had changed slides on my 1911-A1 and hadn't tuned it yet. He is bald, and of course every round ejected straight back and bounced from his head. His kids and wife were hysterical at his looking at me like I had set him up. I was embarrassed and apologetic.

Re: Shooting Range Brass Shower
Thanks for the great ideas on how to handle these idiots at the range. If you send the brass my way, good luck getting it back. Thanks for the free brass!

I am still amazed that someone can complain about this. Mancards need to be revoked!

Re: Shooting Range Brass Shower
My "brass" (steel) ejects like a bat out of hell for about 20-30 feet, so if I was getting hit in the face by that I'd have to move. I certainly wouldn't complain about it though unless it was being done on purpose.

Re: Shooting Range Brass Shower
I got hit with my own brass this afternoon shooting my 1911 at freedom armory. Stung a little bit but i kept at it for another 70 rounds. Shit happens. Even if you do get hit at the range your more than likley having more fun there than you would be somewhere else.
Rehab is for quitters!!
