    Just make sure that it is a robber pointing the gun and not another legally armed person who is taking acting for some thing you just missed.

    Learning to vocalize helps a lot in these situations.

    This is why cops "should" be screaming at you to do something if they have a gun pointed at you. Essentially this means if you don't follow their commands they will shoot you to get you to follow their commands. Essentially if you are drawing down on someone that is what you should do as well.

    Your most powerful weapon and most useful tool in high stress situations is your voice, and what you say, and something you should really practice along side learning how to shoot.

    The problem then is, are the cops screaming conflicting commands if there's more than one screaming.

    Cop1: Put your hands!
    Cop2: Don't move!
    citizen:
    Cop3: <bang> <bang><bang><bang>
    dog: woof
    Cop3: <bang><stomp><bang><bang><bang><bang>
