    Default Constitutional Rights Restored!!!

So... Some of you might have read my post last night. I was the guy who got inot a little troublw when I was 18 yo, got probabtion BEFORE judgement, and walked away thinking I was free and clear. Now at 40ish I was denied my 2nd Amendment rights last year to purchase a firearm because the paperwork back then was misfiled. Well.... Over $15K later, headaches, court dates, and lots of paperwork... My rights have been restored!!

I sucessfully purchased a Colt 6920 5.56, and am damn happy with it! It leads me to think a little deeper now that my trials and tribulations are over. How many law abiding citizens due to red tape, burecracy, a misfiled paper, a small screw up 20 years ago are having their Constitutional rights denied while the real criminals play by a different set of rules. Lets face it, it's generally not the known criminal who goes to a gun store and puts himself through a state or federal check.

I am happy my situation is resolved, I just hope there are others who never have to feel like less of an American because of things like what I went through.

Good for you! Shame that you had to pay for what was rightfully yours.

Thank you, I will become educated, and I will enjoy my rifle! Thank God we live in PA. We are sandwiched in between two States where being a gun owner might as well be a sin.

It was a long road I'm sure. Congratulations. I sound like my Father when I say that things you do as a youth will or can come back to haunt you so make good choices.

I am amazed at how many of these stories I hear.
Yours may be the first one where your rights are restored.

I hope, honestly, that you learned a valuable lesson and pass it on if you have children.
