The 2013 two week lull
Believe it or not we need the two week lull as humans. As much as we hit the woods. To have two weeks to prepare and to eat turkey before the guns come out full throttle Dec 2 is a good thing. So this thread is about your two week prep and thanksgiving sched. Who's bear hunting who's zeroing in there new deer gun? Me I am off soon to stealhead and brown trout fish in NY. Have a great two weeks and remember to treat the family good they won't see much of you in two weeks!
Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Two week lull, what's that? Down here in the bottom right corner we still have antlerless archery going, so since I still have a doe tag left, I will be trying to get into the woods when I can.

Re: The 2013 two week lull
Going out antler less isn't the same as tackling the buck season archery. It counts as the lull. I hopefully will be out in 5d sat we will see if the doe tag shows up.

Re: The 2013 two week lull
I will be getting customers deer heads prepped to go into the beetle tanks for cleaning this week and will be starting another beetle colony as well to try and finish the skulls faster. Friday I will be leaving for WV, hopefully there is not a squatter living in my WV house. I will return home on Dec. 1st in time to hunt opening day, deer heads placed in the beetle tanks will be ready to be moved to degreasing tanks and new heads put with the beetles
