From my experience, gunshows typically want the action of all firearms passing through the door zip tied (or flagged or whatever it is they do). I'm sure there are exceptions but I've never been to a gunshow that allowed loaded guns.

Because there's a 99.9% chance that you'd need to have it rendered inoperable via zip tie through the action upon entry. Never did figure out how people are supposed to reholster like that.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

The chances have been way, way lower for me.

But when it does happen, put the cable tie lock inside the action or at the muzzle and you can reholster with most holsters.

Ah, good to know. I avoided the issue by simply not opening my mouth.

I avoided the issue by OC at about a dozen different gun shows by a certain promoter and telling them I had nothing to check. There is no way they didn't see it every time, so I think it was either that I was associated with dealers and their staff or they blew it off or I have mastered the:

If a local store (Dicks Sporting Goods comes to mind... that was for Emptymag) told you that you had to disarm or make your firearm inoperable, would you shop there? Then why is it OK for Gun Shows to do this is beyond me. I don't attend them for this reason.
