Split rock gun show -round discharged
Took the boy to the show today, a little before noon heard a round discharge. I overheard someone shortly afterwards say a guy had his hand wrapped up. Needless to say on the way out trooper and ambulance showed up.

Re: Split rock gun show -round discharged
Me and my three year old daughter were about 15 feet away. I was never so scared and mad at the same time.
He was even facing toward us. We are very lucky. I squeezed my daughter tight the rest of the day. I was still trembling hours later.

Re: Split rock gun show -round discharged
I know that guy is at all the local gun shows and I have dealt with him in the past. It looked like he was trying to clear a colt mustang or something similar. He hurt his hand with the recoil of the slide, not the bullet.
I walked by his table later and a police officer was telling him he was being charged with reckless endangerment.
It was just EFFIN stupid to be playing with a loaded weapon.
I am really sick thinking about what could have happened but thank god or whoever that nobody was seriously injured.

Re: Split rock gun show -round discharged
So was he a vendor or a customer?
Was he clearing a gun at the door or at a table inside the hall? It touched off at 1100 and the hall was pretty damned crowded at that time. What exactly was going on?
I'm glad to hear both you and your daughter are OK. I was there with my older daughter at that time over by the guy with the 2 foot long switchblade near the food corner. Fortunately, we were on the other side of the structural pillar, but that made it difficult to see what was going on. I'm just glad that no one got hit.
Did you notice how totally quiet it got after the round went off?Sed ego sum homo indomitus

Re: Split rock gun show -round discharged
Damn,
This guy, the guy at the supermarket....I wonder how often this is happening around the country?
If these stupid shits keep this up, between the cops shooting everyone except the people they should be shooting and stupid fuckers having NDs and ADs, maybe criminals are the only one's who should be armed. I can almost see the antis reasoning.
If there was a person with their child standing next to this clown when he did this and they were on the fence about the right to carry, guess where they're at now, and rightfully so. The closest they and their child has ever come to being killed was probably today and it was by a legal carrier.
This just sucks, dumbass people just suck.

Re: Split rock gun show -round discharged
That doesn't have the force of law here in PA.
The problem is any business owner is more likely to put up a "No Guns" sign to keep people from shooting themselves and others because if they put up a "No Stupid People" sign, they wouldn't have any business left.
