PMSC 2013 Zombie Shoot After Action Report

So last night, tonight and tmw night is the annual Zombie Dark Shoot.

Slots are all filled up. This is my third year participating and it is always a good time.

Mark Cleaver is the match director and designer of the stages.

He really comes up with some fun stages. Lots of activators and tricky targets that he likes to hide.

Stage 1 had two targets that could be seen from the beginning, however they were far away. If you plan the stage out there are other opportunities to engage them from much closer range.

Stage 2 had a door that, when opened, would activate a swinging target.

Stage 3 had a zombie head in the ground. You stomped on its face to activate a guillotine that cops a dummy's head off and squirts fake blood. There is a cardboard zombie target affixed to the guillotine blade. Later in the stage there is a wall with a port. You must grab a handle and pull the rope down to lift the port open. You cannot let go of the rope handle otherwise the port will close. Opening the port activated a swinging target.

Stage 4 there is a door. When opened, it activates a sliding target. At the end there is a dummy that you stab with a knife.

Stage 5 has a doorway locked with wooden stick. You must breach the door. Either with a shotgun (if you are using shotgun in the match) or kick the door open. Easier said than done, the kicking I mean. I saw two guys struggle to breach the door.
