Default Does anyone recognize this grip?

    Its a 686 with a 2.5 inch barrel.

The standard grip is black and uninspiring but IMHO this thing looks awesome.

If anyone can identity it for me, I'd appreciate it.

Also, are they difficult to replace?

They look factory to me too. I would get them, or another name-brand set. I have a nice set of Hogue hardwood grips on one of my N frames. They fit great. You won't like something that does not fit right. And no, it's really easy to replace grips. One screw. But PLEASE, use a good screwdriver with the correct size bit. Otherwise, you will have an ugly, boogered screw.

I was going to say Philipines too. I've purchased several from jaruwan.p and have always been satisfied. But, with the super typhoon hitting the area, he will probably be flooded out again !
Just remembered, not that it's important but jaruwan.p is actually in Thailand not the Philippines.

Very easy, just get the right grips (Smith & Wesson L-Frame (pretty sure) Round butt, and use a good hollow ground screwdriver to remove and replace the screws. Yes, in my opinion, the screwdriver thing matters.

They are great looking grips. I have a 4" 686 with Rogers Rose Wood Grips which are similar but more squared off on the bottom.
