FYI Centre region folks
I can now accept credit cards for any services that I provide. I found a company that doesn't care if it's for gun related purchases, service, etc.
I had been going to use the one called Square but they changed their policy to exclude guns and gun related (and in their words, other destructive or harmful items). So they got dropped and I found this other company. Did my first transaction last week and it sailed right through.Ron USAF Ret E-8 FFL01/SOT3 NRA Benefactor Member

Re: FYI Centre region folks
Excellent! With EBRs prices dropping to the pre-panic level, I am seriously considering to buy from online sources several more lowers (PSA has some really nice offerings lately) and maybe a .308 battle rifle (trying to decide between a PTR-91 GI and M&P 10). I get a feeling that I will need transferring service on a few firearms in the coming months...
Ron, could you post your current fee schedule for transferring? Do you still have a sliding-scale fee structure? Thanks.

Re: FYI Centre region folks
Currently this is my fee schedule:
1 gun (cash or local check) $20
1 gun (credit card) $23
2 guns (cash or local check) $35
2 guns (credit card) $40
3 or 4 guns (cash or local check) $15 each
3 or 4 guns (credit card) $17 each
If it's over 5 guns at one time, which is pretty rare, I'll work that out with the individual.
I had to make some changes because of what I get charged for accepting credit cards and the additional bookkeeping workload for me to keep track of things.
I think I still have pretty reasonable rates.
Have to add this disclaimer: These rates are in effect at this time but may be changed at any time in the future as needed.
I don't forsee changing my prices for a minimum of 8 months (I'll have to review all my prices in June 2014).Ron USAF Ret E-8 FFL01/SOT3 NRA Benefactor Member

Re: FYI Centre region folks
Does anyone know anything about the new firearms and virtual range that is moving into the old Kolheps building on 220 in Julian. The sign in the window says opening January 4. I believe the name is KMA.
