    Default glock 26 magazine capacity

Just picked up a NIB glock 26 gen 3. The mags are marked for 10 rounds but I can load 11. Bought a spare from another shop and the same thing happened. Haven't been to the range yet. Are the springs fatigued? Problem or blessing?

Does it have an extended floorplate? I'm not sure whats shipping from the factory, but the +1 floorplate extensions are rabidly popular.

I have a G26 for a number of years. The standard magazine is ten rounds. I believe there is also a nine round magazine available.

Eleven rounds will not fit in as it is difficult enough to get ten in a new magazine.

    I'm with Chief, I've a a gen4 and it's painful to load just 10. I don't have an extended floor.

Maybe someone modified the follower or bought a custom follower.

I usually modify all of my mags to allow an extra round - if it is feasible for that particular mag/follower.

I don't think so. This gun still has the gold grease. The were new with the gun besides the one I bought at another gun shop. All three will take 11 rounds. Maybe I'm so used to loading my 27 that loading the 26 is that much easier. Who knows?
