Default How many guns it too many?

I have 11 hand guns, 2 shot and 3 rifles. My wife thinks I'm crazy. What do you guys and gals have. Am I obsessed? I see it as a hobie.

Yes, you are crazy. Please give all your guns to me (transferred legally of course) and commit yourself to a mental institution

Seriously, for folks on here, I'd say that's about an average (non-crazy) collection.

I would call that a very low end beginning.

That's about where I'm at OP. I do a lot of trading, selling, and sometimes even buying so the numbers fluctuate.....

I heard of a guy who retired from Wall Street, took a job in a gun store, and would sometimes buy as many as 5 guns per week. He had many gun safes, and apparently even the ATF had an arrangement to stop by and talk to see that guns were accounted for annually. Again, this is just what I heard.

It's never "too many". They do not do the same thing or are the same.
I always need one more hand gun, one more shotgun, and one more rifle.
And my wife needs more bling and more shoes, so it works out.
Your collection is a nice start.

I wouldn't post specifics on the interwebz. DHS is watching us.

I don't think a lot of people are gonna post exactly how many firearms they own, but I would say you have a nice start. Quality over quantity.
