Moving to the area any advice ??

my wife and i are relocating to the Quakertown area, does anyone have any useful advice ? I have a job at JMAS in Trumbauersville and looking for a house to rent in the area close to work as possible.

Are you looking for advice on where to rent or other things?

The rental market is very brisk in the Quakertown area. You will find properties from Condo/Townhomes to stand alone older homes available for rent.

Do you have a price range or have something in mind you are looking for?

The area itself is convenient in terms of shopping. Quakertown has a Walmart, Target, larger box stores, tons of fast food places as well as pizza joints. You are not that far from Montgomeryville (down RT 309) which has a nice mall as well as a Wegman's coming in Nov.

There decent restaurants in the area from Saucon Valley down to Montgomeryville.

Looking for in town or out of town?

$800-$1200 range no less than 900sqft. it will just be the wife and i and id like as close to Trumbauersville as possible. no further than a 30minute drive to work. maybe a big 2 bed or 3 bed. we need the sqft for all our crap lol. 3 bed would be nice, bedroom, room for her and a room for me. no dumps either

ill be in Qtown tomorrow. wife has job interview in Pottstown for a job in Quakertown and we are looking at some places after that. cant wait to get moved.

just an update.... my wife and i have finally got settled for the most part. livin in souderton and lovin my dream job at JM Automation Services. this seems like a great area, im lovin it

Souderton is a great location to be, as everything is within 10-15 minutes either way.

i do wanna check out the drive thru beer mart beside the post office. lol dunno about the viet cafe , never tried it , might have to. i take 309 to tolgate to work. there a better way ?

how about the Franconia Heritage resturaunt ? anyone been there ? i think im goin there tomorrow evening after work with the wife.

thank you road crew for patchin those pot holes on 309 between tollgate and souderton. that was gettin crazy bad. better for now till the snow plows peel it up again.
