Rubber boots fix this real quick. That's all I wear when hunting. Keeps me covered and dry no matter what I come across.

    Two words, Red Wings.

As long as the leather doesn't crack clean through, they are waterproof and don't even advertise it.

My last pair only lost waterproof-ness when I wore right through the sole!!

This is what I've used since I was a kid. Melt it in with a hair dryer. Always worked great for me. It's called Sno-Seal. I've had this one for a while, don't remember where I got it.

Never used it but saw a video on it, and it looks pretty cool.

A friend said he tried the never wet & it only works for a short time & needs constant reapplication. He said it didn't even last a whole day in the field.

I wrote to Rocky & they replied:

    "Hello,

Yes you can buy any type of water proof spray silicone. From any type of a large retail store would have some. We suggest that you keep up on that every 3 to 6 months. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you, Customer Service"
