Default Any efforts to bring Vermont model carry to PA?

So I got to wondering the other day...

If the Second Amendment enumerates a right, why are we paying to exercise that right?
Would you be OK with it if your voter registration card came with a $26 fee for five years?
    I wouldn't.

Are there any efforts underway to bring Vermont style carry to PA?

    I would.

God didn't give me a right to cast a vote to control the people around me. In order to do that, I need to be a part of an organization and follow their rules. I was born with the right to self-defense and the right to Keep and Bear Arms whether I am part of a group or the last man on Earth.

I agree with ungawa. As it stands right now, there is no Constitutional right to vote.

The "right to vote" is not explicitly stated in the U.S. Constitution except in the above referenced amendments, and only in reference to the fact that the franchise cannot be denied or abridged based solely on the aforementioned qualifications. In other words, the "right to vote" is perhaps better understood, in layman's terms, as only prohibiting certain forms of legal discrimination in establishing qualifications for suffrage. States may deny the "right to vote" for other reasons.

Voting is not a right. But you do have a right not to be denied your ability to vote based on race or gender or any other type of discrimination.

But in actual regards to your post, I do believe there is (or was) a bill in our state pushing for Constitutional Carry. But I cannot recall what bill it was, or if it died somewhere.

I strongly believe we need Poll Taxes in this country.

As far as I know Vermont allows any type of carry without a permit. Fine by me.

For what it is worth, the is a bill sitting in the House Judiciary committee tht permits "Constitutional Carry". You could start by searching the legislation sticky at the top of the section.
