Supporting member status?
I decided to donate to the site via paypal, but am not listed as a "supporting member". Do I need to donate a certain amount to get that annotation? I donated what I could.
Thanks

Re: Supporting member status?
I was told that you would forever be listed as a supporting member, and listed for one year on the list on the website's list of donors. But your name would be green forever.

Re: Supporting member status?
I was wondering the same thing. I donated money via paypal a few weeks ago and my s/n never changed color. Maybe it just takes time to update things?

Re: Supporting member status?
I also donated and my name did not turn green either. I noticed that the page listing the donors has not been updated since October 2007. Maybe it is time to update the page?

It takes time, this is a busy site. Believe me, the admin will get to it!

Re: Supporting member status?
did you include your forum username with your donation?
otherwise we have no way to match up donations with usernames to add the appropriate flags.
PM me with your donation details and I'll get it sorted out for you.
Thank you for your support!

Re: Supporting member status?
If you have not received a thank you letter from us and information requesting your choice to remain anonymous it is because we were not able to figure out who you were from your donation.
I send a personal email or PM to every person who donates to PAFOA as long as I can track them down.
If you donated and haven't seen such an email yet please PM me and I'll make sure it gets taken care of!
I'm in Virginia at the moment and don't have access to some of the things I need to update but it's a top priority once I get back to Philadelphia.Dan P, Founder & President, Pennsylvania Firearm Owners Association

Re: Supporting member status?
That timestamp isn't 100% accurate. That means I haven't updated the descriptive text on the page, but I've updated the actual donor database many, many times.
Each page on the main site comes from a collection of databases/tables each of which are updated separately. It's a fairly complicated system!Dan P, Founder & President, Pennsylvania Firearm Owners Association
