    Default ummm ak's

so i picked another one up this morning. it's an older gun, with all the ban features on, err missing from it.
    i have a thing for the wasr's.
i had stopped in the shop about 3 weeks ago looking for a plain jane wood stock, of course the rush had already been going a few weeks at that point. and quickly figured out i was SOL. so i ran home and ordered a romy rpk.
and then about a week an half ago i was hanging out in the shop when a dude came to to sell a wasr. which i promptly picked up...or rather layed away.
the last month has been a blurr, a bender to end all. think i need to ease off a bit. 3 long guns, a pistol and one ''new'' truck.

these ak's are worse than crack, but i think i got my fix now.

I know you mention having your "fix" but I wanted to throw out that you can now get an RPK at www.classicarms.org for $399. ;-) I ordered mine today. It will look nice sitting next to my SAR2. Their DNS must be a little out of whack but if you want, give them a call at (800) 383-8011 (let me know if I'm not allowed to post that info.) I don't work for them or anything, just passing on info that I learned about today.

Darn AKs are like potato chips. I'm about due for another one too.
Gloria: "65 percent of the people murdered in the last 10 years were killed by hand guns"
Archie Bunker: "would it make you feel better, little girl, if they was pushed outta windows?"

Only three? You need more. Many more.

Rocketfoot, you'd better get it going soon, bro! Why not check out Saigas, they're probably in your price range.

Yeah.. that's what I meant. No wonder I couldn't find the website. That's why I posted up the number. I couldn't find the site so I googled them and found a number to them. My buddy picked his RPK up already. He replaced the bipod with a more authentic on, then he put on a more authentic brake after grinding off the muzzle nut.
