    Question Firearm Apps?

Do any of you use any firearm related apps? I use the 'Ammo Finder' app, and I really like it. I believe I paid 99 cents for it, but there's probably free ones available. In the past I used the Walmart app to track ammo, but I was told you can't use the app to track when ammo is available anymore.. If anyone can clear that up that would be great.

And they couldn't track your smartphone before? Buy a faraday cage to store it inside when your not using it I guess.

I downloaded the ATK app and it was pretty worthless. Sounded like it was going to give ballistic info on ammo but instead it just gives generic data on some of their cartridges.

Walmarts app was really useful but not so much anymore. All I can get is not available or data unavailable. I haven't checked but I wouldn't be surprised I learn that the data unavailable means ammo is actually in inventory but haven't really checked on it. It seems that it has helped keep sock in the stores now that it's not letting everyone know where it is.

It would be nice to get a ballistic calculator/ reloading app I think.

Oh and not an app, but I see they are making mounts for your gun and phone so you can video record your shooting.

I know my brother has an app that he puts reloading data into just to display it easy, but it would be nice to have an app that GIVES you reloading data.. I don't know of any out there but I haven't really looked for one either.

There are a couple shot timer apps, I haven't messed with them personally but I've heard one or two of them is actually useful.

    I have an iPad.

Find Ranges seems like it works well...

It's tough to separate games from other apps but there's a whole bunch of ebooks and catalogs and other useful looking apps, some free, some not in the App Store.

I've been getting my American Rifleman via the NRA app.

One less magazine in the recycle bin...

late to the game on this one.
are we talking iphone or a real phone?

for android I use "strelok" quite a bit. It is a really well set up ballistic calculator. "shot timer" is what you would expect and works quite well.
