Cheap Night Sights
Doing a little tinkering in the shop today and I decided to touch up the sights on my CZ-82.
Step #1 Clean and degrease the sights. The sights on the CZ-82 have a nice cut out to receive the paint.
Step #2 paint the sights with white nail polish. Do not completely fill the cut outs, leave room for the glow in the dark paint.
I used this glow in the dark paint from Glow INC. Ultra Green, it's 7.98 for 1/2 oz. bottle. But its very bright and glows a long time. I had the bottle on my night stand and in the morning when I woke up it was still glowing. Not bright but you could see it well.
Step #3 Paint over the white with the Glow Paint.
Step #4 After the Glow paint dries seal it with some clear nail polish.
Step #5 shut off the lights and smile.
