The reference in the article referring to the supreme court ruling in 1968 that criminals, with prior convictions, cannot be charged in failing to register their firearms as self incrimination protection found in the 5th amendment, is truly a dilemma for the misguided fools in new York.

Then they'll just reword the law that if you're a felon in possession of a firearm you don't have to register, but if you're not a felon, you do.
Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

what a mess this has made of things...from an ownership point of view, and from an enforcement point of view. the real downside is the attrition clause, which will rid NY of controlled firearms within one lifetime.

    Greetings,

Great, the actual definition of a police state; where it's a crime INSIDE your home to have more than 7 rounds loaded in a mag. I wish success to those groups fighting these totalitarian regulations.

Let's all do everything we can to ensure PA doesn't go down this road.

    Regards, Jim

Exactly what they did in the UK before I left, they made it so complicated for all sides that even with complying you could still fall foul of the law.
    It's spreading here!

I think we should give a couple nukes to Al Qaeda. You know the first one is either going to NYC or DC.
