"Old" Fiocchi Ammo
Bought some 9mm ammo from a friend who had sold his nine and sold me two boxes of Fiocchi 115 JHP cheap. The ammo was 15+ years old but kept in good condition. Went to the range yesterday and the ammo ran fine through my Glock. As I started to police the brass I notice that the shells are cracked down the side on most of the rounds.
I have never seen a shell case crack. Ammo fed, fired, and ejected fine.
Any ideas??? Thanks for any feedback.j

Re: "Old" Fiocchi Ammo
I've seen factory virgin loads crack casings. It was either a bad mix of metals or bad annealing.
