    Default New aquisition P220 Two-Tone

I could not pass on a deal on a P220 Two Tone with night sights today . Former cop was selling her old duty weapon that she only carried for 2 years and had maybe 200 rounds though it. It's been sitting in a closet since 2000. The thing looks brand new. Case, 3 mags, and manual along with it. Sigs have come to be my favorite Semi handgun. Already had a P220 that was also a former duty weapon from a retired cop, as well as a P225 I picked up. As much as I love my 1911's, I have to give the nod to Sigs

    Nice find !
I've never gotten along very well with Sigs, but they are well made guns, and that one is very pretty!

That's what I kidded her about when she 1st showed it to me a few weeks ago. "oh, you bought the 'pretty' one for a duty gun huh?"

Yep, it's a German. So is this one. He wanted to get rid of it and only asked $350 for it and 3 mags. so I scarfed it up. With the same ammo, it'll do at 25 yds what my Colt 1911 does at 15 yds.

The Two Tone I picked up today she was asking $700 for. For a like new, not even broke in, figured I'd scarf it up too. Seen more handling marks on display guns

nice looking Sig, not a fan of two-tone guns but I do like P220's. They are great guns, enjoy and let us know how it shoots!

It appears to be a German built gun not a W.German, don't see proof mark on the frame.

I said that until I found a lightly used P226 MK25 last week for $500 at my LGS.
