Default Super Comanche 45/410 hard to find grips

Single shot super comanche 6 inch barrel. Love shooting 410...like a cannon and always turns heads...BUT can't stand the grips its like holding a kids toy. Anyone know of grips that will work with this pistol? Have tried Hogue mono, K & L S&W square, Super Blackhawk, Blackhark and just ordered Hogue N S&S Square. I don't want to pay for custom grips for 150 dollar pistol. Any insight would be appreciated.

Adapted a Hogue Grip on to mine and bought the scope mount. Turns out it's a pleasure to shoot and .45LC is pretty accurate at 100 Yards.

    I used a Hogue 83000 grip.
You have to be prepared to take a grinder to your grip frame.
The 83000 came off of my Super Blackhawk. I took it off and compared the frames. That told me where I had to modify the frame of the Comanche. Basically I had to grind the front of the grip frame where it kicks back toward the muzzle. That had to match my Blackhawk. Then I had to grind off the original grip pin/nubs. I took a Dremmel tool and ground a groove for the stirrup pin to sit in for the Hogue Grip. I had to trim the rubber around the trigger guard a little.

See Thru Scope Mount I bought at Eagle Imports Inc 1750 Brielle Ave, Ocean Township, NJ 07712

They are the importers for these.
Need to be sure to use locktite to install.
I had to call them to order it. $39.00 + shipping

Scope is an NC Star - Illuminated Reticle $50 on Ebay

I have it sighted in for 100 yards using 230 Grain Hornady XTP Jacketed hollow points. With 6 grains of Tight Group powder.
Shoots surprisingly well for an import.

If I have a chance I'll take it off and take some pics of the modifications. Post them later.
