Knife Storage

I was wondering what others do to care for their knives. I know that it is a bad idea to store a knife in its leather sheath. Is there an alternative to using a case along with some means of dehumidification?

I'd get one of the Maxpedition Razorshells (bottom of page in link)

And coat it in a layer of Tuf-Cloth before storage.

I keep several in their leather cases. I never had a problem with rust. Just keep them oiled up and a little brass polish on the bolsters once and awhile. They'll last forever.
