Serbu Group Buy (at AK Files...) organized by PAFOA member.
I've owned .50 cals in the past (sold to get through school, and to buy a house)...Barrett M82 (not a typo..an early gun), State Arms, Armalite and Serbu. All are fantastic rifles. Had them for fun...not target shooting (although the Armalite and State Arms could have Easily done that with no problem). The Serbu stuff is one of the best values out there...well made, cheaper (as a bolt gun rather than a shell holder design), and very accurate.
I've had a couple of the rifles (the last was serial #8).....remember reading while Mark Serbu was developing and building the first rifles. Always wanted the Carbine...I don't have 1000 yard ranges to use, and the Carbine is much more 'shoulder' friendly when you're carrying stuff around...and easier to keep in the safe.
Anyhow....as good a deal as a Serbu normally is, this Group Buy made it a fantastic deal....my last used rifle sold for $2k....without the bipod!.
Thanks again to Renov8 (and Mark Serbu and DeAnn) for organizing this..

Jealous! I didn't see the GB until after it had already closed, killer deal and I would have defiantly got in on that at the time.
