    Default Act 235 eligibility...

I was hoping I could get some thoughts on this because I am very nervous as I will have to leave my current job to pursue the new one while I wait on the card... I recently got a job lined up that will require pa act 235 but I had a question to if ill be approved or denied application I am kind of confused on the conviction procedure. In 2008 in the state of Florida as a juvenile I was arrested and charged with a felony second degree of burglary of a unoccupied building. My disposition is pretrial diversion which I have completed and shows up as. Upon completion all charges where dropped will this disqualify me? I have never had any trouble since... But I'm not sure on what my chances are of approval... Thanks all for the help.

Why don't you just call the state police and ask them?

Not knowing fully your disposition, I will still take a stab at it.

It sounds as if you you took a similar course of action to PA's ARD program. Which, if correct, should not impact LWTA cert (Act 235).

If you can lawfully possess firearms, then, for the most part, you should be fine.

    Be safe (and rehabilitated).

Thanks john I did contact them in the past a few times and all they could tel me is that it is case by case couldn't give me any more information.

Thank you very much Scott, it was the ard program I confirmed that online that it is just another name. It was a huge mistake I made as a child that I regret every day. I'm going to apply and pray for the best. Thank you again
