Default Finally got a real job makin real money....time for a new toy.

So after doing all kinds of work throughout my life I finally find myself in a good union job and just found out today I'm going to be getting full rate even though i'm still an apprentice. A little over 20 bucks an hour. Still low compared to most trades but more money than i've ever made in my life. Now I have money for my bills, savings, an AR soon. But my next purchase is going to be a gift to myself and an upgrade from the kel-tec.

    Para Ordinance para carry 9mm.

A Single stack, LDA peice of concealed carry perfection. Shot one at the last group shoot (thank your brother for me) and since then I haven't been able to get it off my mind. THIS IS MY DREAM PISTOL! I can't think of anything better to stick in my pants (perfect set up for lycan, joe, or slicknick

I'm seriously considering that gun as my new CCW to replace my Glock 26. It is much thinner, right?

The only caution I have for you is that the black finish Para uses shows holster wear VERY easily. I have a black full size Para 1911. If I get one, I'll have it hard chromed immediately

Congrats, by the way! I remember how good it felt when I finished school and got my first nursing job. I'm not setting the world on fire but I'm comfortable and that's all that matters!

Shawn, you can have your hands all over my peice. I've always loved Para Ordinance, and thought the LDA seemed like an awsome system, but when I shot that Carry nine I fell in love.

I really wanted a well-made 9mm, and really like your XD sub. But I wanted something that dosn't feel like a block of wood in my pants (WOW, it's gettin pervy in here)

Congratulations on the new job. That's worth celebrating with a new toy. I have a C7.45 LDA. What a sweet, sweet trigger. Good luck and enjoy the new piece.

    Congrats on the increase!

But, 20 bucks an hour for Full Rate? Is there room to advance, 20 bucks an hour sounds really low for a full union rate. I have union buddies that Im basing this off of.

To join in your celebrations... I just got a raise at work as well! But It's all going to my new baby daughter fund lol
