    Default What should I buy?

What handguns would you suggest I acquire with my 2 remaining NJ handgun purchase permits (yeah I know that sounds weird to you guys).

    I already have:

    Ruger SP101, revolver, 3" barrel, .357/.38 sp
    S&W 617, revolver, 4" barrel, .22lr
Sig P238, pistol, .380 ACP ("pocket" pistol)
    CZ82, pistol, 9x18 Makarov

    I'm also about to get:

    E. German Makarov, 9x18

Suggestions? We don't have CC in NJ, but I have an Idaho license

I'm not interested in .45 or similar calibers due to cost, recoil, and lack of usage.

    Thanks for your input!

I really like my Glock 19 Gen 4 for EDC. Are they legal in NJ?

Do you have two more purchases for the year or forever?

Sounds like you need a 9mm luger to supplement your 9mm makarovs

    -Beretta 92FS
    -CZ75
-Glock 19 (I'd say 17 but then you have the mag capacity issue)
    -9mm 1911 style pistol?

NJ does not have approved lists of handguns to purchase like CA or MA, just has the 15 round limit... so Glock 19 is good to go!

Yes, I heard what you said about certain calibers but no collection is complete without a 1911 and no pistol is a 1911 unless its chambered in 45 automatic.

That's kind of like asking a stranger "what kind of food do you think I'd like?"

Are AR pistols legal in the PRNJ? I'm in the process of buying a Sig PM400 pistol. That would frost their bananas there!

I have an FN FNP45 it is my only 45 and I was surprised about the recoil. The handgun barrel doesn't go up when firing like my Glock 20 10mm, it pushes back and it is not uncomfortable at all. Try one if you haven't already.
Sorry to hear that you live in NJ I moved out in 2001.

A nice 22 auto, like a Ruger Standard or a Browing Buckmark.
