Default CCW in DE on FL Permit

    Good day.

I am a new resident of Delaware and I do not have a DE permit. I do have a Florida non-res permit, but I am under the impression that I can't carry in my home state of DE without a DE resident permit. Is this correct? Thanks for any INFORMED advice.

By the way, PA is a great state. I carry there often and wish I would have moved there instead of DE. They make you jump through hoops here to get your res CCW.

    Thanks,

    Burns.

Hmmm, after reading the DE AG website info, I still don't know, lol. My best advice to you would be to make a phone call to the AG's office. Tell them that you are considering moving to DE and wonder if that will effect the status of your Fl. non-res permit's validity there. See what they have to say on it.

I would still give the AG a call and find out for sure...

Thanks greg. It's a real pain in the rear because you have to get signatures from 5 residents and since I just moved here I don't know anyone except my wife and two folks from work (and I don't need everyone at work to know that I carry). They also make you post an add in the paper. Ridiculous.
