    Default Sept EFR Projects

Starting out with a Px4 Storm for a female soldier returning from the war zone- first I like to thank her for her service- she wanted something a little on the wild side. The next one up is a Feg 9 and a Hipower 9 followed by some 1911's ,two have milling by Tony D. from Custom Gun Designz and last is a Polish Mag 98 . I will add a Cz 85 and a custom Canik Shark tomorrow.

Here are a couple more that we finished on Sat- a couple of Beratta's , a Cz 85 and a shotgun that was in a fire.

I thought the pink tiger stripe one was awesome. I showed it to my wife, and she got really disgusted and said:

"It pisses me off so much that everyone thinks women should only have pink guns. I hate seeing a pink gun in a store, obviously marketed toward women. Why does the gun have to be pink just because a woman is buying it? It's incredibly sexist."

So I said, "Tell me exactly what is so sexist about doing a custom finish job in pink because a woman specifically requested it? They don't make guns in pink because they think everything a woman buys should be pink... They make guns in pink simply because people want them. They make them because they sell. If nobody wanted a pink gun, they wouldn't sell so nobody would make them."

It's not just guns. Any time she sees anything that is normally a boring color being sold in pink, she talks about how our society is so sexist that we make things in pink because we believe that women should only buy things that are "girly." I guess she will just never understand that the only reason things are made in an unusual color is because people want them.

    +1

Also, it's just a color. It has nothing to do with sex/gender/whatever...

I'd use a pink gun... in fact, I tried to put together a pink AR15 but all the pink furniture was sold out and delayed. I settled for black/pink mags.

But yeah, that pink tiger stripe looks awesome. Also looks like a dahl pistol, which CL4P-TP approves of.
