    Default Private Party Ship to FFL near Pittsburgh -- Help

    So I bought a new rifle on gunbroker and its shipping from a private party from Indiana. I am looking for an FFL that will accept the shipment and complete the transfer for a reasonable price.

    Smoke and Guns who I normally use won't take a private party shipment.

    Island Firearms can't seem to figure out how to email a copy of their FFL...

    Can anyone recommend a shop that's reasonable, not in the darn Stone Age technology wise and willing to accept a private party shipment?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Why would an FFL send a copy of his license to a private party?

    Plenty of mischief goes down with faked FFL's. The shipper can verify any FFL via the ATF website. No need for an FFL to send copies of his license to non-FFL's.

    Did you look at the Gunbroker FFL Dealer Locator: Find FFL Dealers & Holders - http://www.gunbroker.com/FFL/DealerNetwork.aspx Search there FFL Holder Network.

    But it asks for an FFL number...

    Private seller appears to be trying to comply with the law by shipping from out of state to a valid FFL.

    John has done it for me many times in the past and will do it for you. No hassles, $20. Don't use anyone else.
