Default Need help with a actual law . .

Im looking for the actual statue or law that states it is legal to carry a weapon where alcohol is served . . .

And im looking for the law that states you can consume alcohol while carrying a firearm.

I know its not a good idea to do so but im in the middle of an arguement about it being legal or not. Not if its a good idea or not . .

Any help would be appriciated . . .

Laws generally don't tell you what you can do, they tell you what you cannot do. If there is no law that says it's illegal drink alcohol and carry a firearm, then it's legal to do so.
Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

Did you find one in your searches? As far as I know in the state of PA, no such law exists. I believe there are such laws in other states though.

Throw it back at whomever you are debating it with to come up with the statute outlawing drinking and carrying in PA, or carrying where alcohol is served.
He won't be able to find one.

As a side note: A business can prohibit firearms on the premisses. So, it's possible that a bar can ban firearms, but so can the local coffee shop.

No such law exists, it's the lack of a law forbiding it which in turn, allows it by default.

Ask him to quote the law that tells you that you are allowed to shop at wal mart. As Streaker said laws make things illegal.

Generally when you are arrested for breaking the law there is a list of statutes that you violated. These are the laws. Since there are no statutes in Pa saying carrying in bars and drinking while carrying are illegal, they are by default legal.

As others have said there is no law about carrying and drinking or carrying where alcohol is served. Because there is no law against it, it is legal. This is in PA only and other states may be different.

Now any private business can set their own rules. If they are posted or you are told of the rule and do not leave you are breaking the trespassing law. The rule could say no entry unless wearing a pink tutu. Left your pink tutu at home and still enter, you are trespassing my friend.
