Tell them cite the law against such actions. It's that simple.
Legislative law not some government entity that thinks it's regulations are enforceable.

I shouldn't have to say this, but why would you be armed while drinking?

If you had to use your weapon in self defense and you were drinking, the prosecutor would attempt to have you charged while using the BAC level as an indicator for the judge/jury to convict.

If you're going to drink, disarm. If you're going to a bar, go armed but don't drink.

It's common sense. We don't need incidents to occur which force legislators to adopt new laws which are passed as "common sense" laws, you know they'll end up banning carry in to establishments which serve alcohol.

While you're at it, read it yourself. You will find, as has been stated, that laws typically don't give a list of things you can do, but thing you can't.

I'm just trying to make sure, since people who generally ask such questions are wanting to do such actions themselves. (people are predictable)

No, I couldn't. Thanks to people always getting drunk as a skunk in Alaska, apart of the bills passed were no loaded firearms in places which serve alcohol. At the time when I lived there you could conceal carry if you didn't drink, which meant no OC in bars. A fine example of legislators passing "common sense" legislation.
