Rediscovering Old Favorites
After stumbling upon Plouffedaddy's P7M13 review, I decided to dig out my long-dormant P7M8 and head to the range today.
Man, I had forgotten just how sweet that thing is to double and triple tap with... And it will keep 3 rounds inside 2.5" at 25 yards if I bag it and pay attention.
Got me thinking about how I neglect certain handguns for years at a time, only to finally take them out and go "thank God I didn't ever consider selling this gun." Or in some cases "Thank God I never got any legit offers on this one!"
What are some of your favorites that you rediscover every so often?
Regards,
Bones

Same thing happened to me today also. My wife wasn't feeling well, so I took the time to go to the range. I decided to take a few pistols that haven't seen the light of day for a while. My Colt Mustang Plus II and my Bersa Duo. Both in .380. Went through about 150 rounds with them before it started to rain. Both worked flawlessly and I had a good time with them.

Re: Rediscovering Old Favorites
They say for some of us car guys that once we hit a certain age and income we start looking for the car or cars we always wanted in high school but could never afford.
I've been doing that as well as the same with guns. I have a shopping list of a few favorites I wanted 20 years ago but could have never afforded. The P7 is one of them.

Re: Rediscovering Old Favorites
Mine is an HK USP Elite .45. I've sold and unsold that pistol more than an oil sheikh changes his car. It's the only non 1911 pistol I own that I ever shoot, and it isn't much. A slow fire pistol, only, with a 'redneck customs' scope mount and a Nikon 8X, 50 yd targets look like a rifle target.
BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.
