Kel tec front night sight question?

I was thinking about how to get/make a front night sight for my Kahr CW9... I noticed the KelTec p11 front sight is also a pinned in affair...

If this is possible could someone measure the distance between the post holes on the slide of their p11?

I don't know if this would work but it is a possibility I am willing to look into...

Does anyone also know if it is possible to have a smith cut the dovetail in the front of the slide?

Just another option I was thinking... probably to exspensive.
