Re: Hersheypark
And I'm a little shocked that you continue to take this thread off-topic. As mentioned in my previous post, a more generic discussion of signage and CC has been ongoing, and I requested that such discussions continue there.

Re: Hersheypark
Hey, I grew up in Hershey.. Calling the superdooperlooper crappy is fighting words..
I was recently at Disney World, and though I didn't carry, if it was on my person I don't see that there would have been a problem as all they looked at was bags. Haven't been back to Hersheypark in a few years, but at least last time around, I don't even recall a bag check.

Re: Hersheypark
You're really shocked at his posts? I hear his point clearly. While I certainly recognize that I'm committing no crime by carrying into an establishment inviting patrons, even if they have a sign prohibiting it, I don't generally roll that way.
If I was a business owner, I would make business decisions - ie. the impact of individuals carrying weapons on my profitability. I would certainly be offended if people ignored my articulated policies, and therefore I try my best not to engage in the offensive behavior myself. Do I always agree, no. Do I always comply - probably not. But for the most part, if I can't or won't comply with a business owner's request, I generally choose not to go there.
Maybe my feelings stem from getting forcibly removed as a little guy from a convenience store for violationing of the no shirt, no shoes, no service policy.

Re: Hersheypark
Went a few weeks or so back.
They do have a prohibitive policy in relatively fine print.
That said, I did not have any issues.
